My name is Fendi Yasuda, and I'm a 30 year old filmmaker/photographer based in Singapore. I graduated with a BFA in Media Art in the school of Arts, Design and Media in Nanyang Technological University.

My visual storytelling journey started when I was gifted my first film camera at the age of thirteen. Starting out with shooting portraits in the streets, I fell in love with the process of creating emotionally powerful visuals of the everyday man from the perspective of a quiet observer.

My personal philosophy as a filmmaker is that the characters are pivotal vehicles for the story. I value creating space for the actor’s performance and strive to frame the camera to augment that. I enjoy telling stories through visual means that is both entertaining and honest.
